Our teachers are well versed in the many styles of Yoga and Pilates, so our students are able to explore and develop a practice unique to themselves. Each one of our experienced teachers bring their unique perspective to their classes, while also sharing their passion to educate, inspire, and guide their students throughout their journey in the practice.
Marissa Montefreddi
Founder of Yoga del Soul
Since a young age, Marissa had always been drawn to meditation and yoga to help ease anxiety while in search of a deeper purpose. She began her journey by teaching herself through many books. Wanting to gain more knowledge, she embarked on a teacher training. Immediately after receiving her 200 RYT she began teaching, wanting to bring the peace and clarity she felt from her yoga practice to others. A few years later she went on to receive her 500 RYT through Sri Dharma Mittra, her practice and teachings then began to evolve into a deeper more spiritual practice. Dana Potts
Dana discovered yoga during a challenging time in her life and found healing through breath, movement, and mindfulness. What began as a personal refuge became a lifelong practice that transformed her physically, mentally, and spiritually. Yoga is now woven into her everyday life, which she views as a beautiful, flowing dance rooted in love and connection.
Dana is an Energy Alignment Coach with a 200 hour RYT, Reiki Master Teacher, and Certified Sound Healer, with training in Kundalini Yoga and Qi Gong. She blends these modalities to guide students toward self love, balance, and higher awareness.
Susan Shafer
Susan is a 500HR certified yoga instructor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Certified EFT Practitioner. Her yoga journey began in 2008, initially as a way to cope with an injury, quickly transformed into a profound source of calm for her active mind and a tool for managing stress.
In her teaching, Susan embraces a variety of yoga styles, believing wholeheartedly that there is a form of yoga for every body. She creates a nurturing environment where individuals can learn, grow, and explore their practice. Her intention is to guide others toward deeper connections with inner peace, joy, and self-acceptance, both on and off the mat.
Linda Higley
Linda’s yoga journey began when a friend invited her to a six week beginner yoga series. Though new to the practice, she quickly felt she had found where she belonged. Yoga became more than movement to her, offering mental, emotional, and spiritual support alongside the physical. In 2016, as her youngest left for college and life entered a new chapter, Linda completed her 200-hour teacher training. What began as curiosity has grown into a deep sense of connection. It is her honor to share a practice that continues to guide and inspire her.
Sara Pilat
Like most, Sara first fell in love with yoga through the physical practice. Embracing her mantra “health is wealth,” she received her 200HR Yoga Teacher certification through Yoga del Soul. While her knowledge of yogic philosophy expanded, her love for the practice deepened. Sara is a firm believer that we all come for the physical practice, but stay for the mental and emotional benefits.
Pamela McKnight
Health and wellness has always been a huge part of Pam's life. However after the discovery of yoga, she knew she'd found something magical. The physical and emotional bliss after each class could not be replicated in any other "exercise" class. Pam decided to explore this "exercise" and deepen her own yoga practice, Along the way fell in love with the practice of yoga.. Yoga has provided a foundation for Pam to approach life in a positive, balanced and healthy way, "yoga is my rock". . In 2013 she made the decision to pursue her first yoga instructor certification in order to share the gift of yoga through teaching. Everyone can benefit from the healing powers of yoga. Yoga is medicine. She believes that yoga teaches us that everything we have ever needed or will ever need is already within us
Kimberly Stahl
Kim is a 500-hour RYT and Reiki Master who discovered yoga 15 years ago while navigating anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. It became her path to peace and personal power, inspiring her to share the practice. Rooted in energetic and anatomical alignment, Kim’s classes blend various healing modalities and create a safe, empowering space. She encourages students to come as they are, guiding them to move beyond mental limits and connect with the present moment. Her teaching leaves students feeling lighter, stronger, and more playful than when they arrived.
Caroline Cassidy
Caroline is a compassionate yoga teacher who completed her 200 HR YTT at Yoga Del Soul. She has a background in holistic health and nutrition, and is passionate about integrating wellness, ayurveda and spirituality.
She found yoga in 2016, while on a journey of self-healing to overcome mental and chronic illness, and felt a longing to deepen her practice. Showing up in the yoga space brought her light when life felt dark. Caroline began to heal both emotionally and physically.
She hopes to cultivate a safe space for inclusivity and healing, welcoming all students to join her on a journey of wellness and self-discovery on and beyond the mat. Caroline is empowered to share the gift of yoga, in hopes to help others find the same peace it has brought her.
Stephanie Hopkins
For many years, Stephanie used yoga as a daily practice to ground herself and cultivate peace, clarity, and connection. Through videos and in-person classes, yoga became a steady companion supporting her both physically and emotionally. After years of personal practice, she felt called to deepen her understanding and earned her 200 hour YTT certification. Stephanie teaches yoga as an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and lead with love and kindness. Her approach emphasizes mindful movement, self-awareness, and compassion, on and off the mat.
Amy Adams
For Amy, yoga is a connection of body, mind and spirit which brings an inner peace and connectedness to all. Amy enjoys the quiet moments of life and comes from a space of continual learning and educating to become a better person for this world. She embarked on a life changing experience and holds an E-RYT 500 hour through Sri Dharma Mittra , that profoundly impacted her entire life. Yoga is creating a greater connection to your true self through meditation, breathwork and physical movement. From this experience, she sees the world through a new lens and feels a sense of spiritual peace and calm. She believes each person needs to be met where they are, accepts them for who they are and hopes to illuminate the beauty within each individual through yoga.
Rachel Murdoch
Yoga came into my life a few years after losing my son, helping me navigate grief and reconnect with myself. It taught me self-love, trust, and how to keep showing up. With 15+ years in health and wellness, including personal training, functional movement, and somatics. I offer a grounded, breath-led approach to healing through movement. My classes invite you to tune into your body, sit with discomfort, and explore your edge with compassion. Whether beginning or continuing your journey, expect a safe space to soften, strengthen, and feel. Authentic movement is true medicine and when you truly listen, your body becomes your greatest teacher.
Stewart Steinberg
Stewart believes that being a yoga instructor is a way to channel positivity and share the peace and connection yoga provides.
His journey on the mat allows him to discover not just physical strength but emotional healing as well. After losing his beloved wife who found so much joy and peace in yoga, Stewart felt a deep calling to honor her memory and found Yoga del Soul. His wife's passion for the practice motivated him to becoming a yoga instructor. Now, through teaching yoga, Stewart's hope is to spread the love and light his wife embodied, keeping her spirit alive in his practice, while helping others navigate their own struggles.
Jordie Quigley
For Jordie, finding yoga was a beacon of light within a time period of darkness. During quarantine, yoga became a huge part of her self discovery and healing journey. Having completed her 200 HR YTT at Yoga Del Soul, Jordie is a yoga teacher devoted to leading with love and compassion. Drawing from a background in massage therapy and energy work, Jordie offers an intuitive and accessible approach that honors each student’s unique experience. Students are invited to move with curiosity, presence, and compassion, cultivating a deeper connection to themselves on and off the mat.
Julie Thompson
Julie is a seasoned instructor with over 30 years experience, specializing in Pliates, barre, dance, and functional fitness. Known for her dynamic and engaging teaching style, Julie creates a fun and welcoming atmosphere where clients of all levels can build strength, improve flexibility, and enhance their overall wellbeing.
Her well-attended classes reflect her ability to connect with her clients, inspiring them to move with confidence and joy.

Mary Schlinger
Mary first fell in love with yoga a few years ago. She was fortunate to have Marissa as a teacher and was inspired to take a 200hr YTT. She wanted to deepen her knowledge of yoga and all it has to offer, and share what she has learned with others. She is grateful and honored to have had Marissa and Brie as her teachers to guide her through this experience that was life changing. “Yoga is the bond between body, mind and breath. Moving through postures while connecting our minds and focusing on the inhaling and exhaling of our breath, helps create a calming environment in and around us.”
Jessica Harnett
In 2018, Jessica, seeking peace and calm, was led down a spiritual path where she first discovered yoga, and later Pilates. Grateful for and touched by the mental, emotional and physical healing provided by both, she embarked on a 200HR Yoga Teacher Training program at Yoga del Soul and became a 300+ HR Pilates instructor, comprehensively trained on all equipment. Her profound and moving experience makes her eager to share the powerful and joyous gifts of Yoga and Pilates with all.
Griffin Daullary
Griffin’s goal is mindfulness through spiritual practice in any form. Four years ago he discovered yoga through a college course while studying for his religious studies co-major, it stuck with him ever since. After graduation Griffin got his 200hr certification through Yoga del Soul. To Griffin yoga is special because it expresses mindfulness in many forms, from postures to meditation mindfulness is a key aspect of yoga. Acknowledging the physical and mental benefits of mindfulness, through yoga, Griffin wants to share these benefits with others.
